Gansong Museum of Art (Director Jeon In Geon) presents the ‘Gansong Metaverse Museum’ project, starting with the issuance of non-fungible token(NFT) based on 30 pieces belonging to Shin Yun Bok’s ‘Hyewon Jeonsincheop (National Treasure No.135)’.

Jeon In Geon, director of the Gansong Art Museum, said, “This project was planned to support the activities of the Gansong Art Museum by forming a community at domestic and international that can promote Korea’s excellent cultural assets to the world.” To this end, the Gansong Museum of Art formed a team with blockchain developer Atomrigs Lab(CEO Jung Woo Hyun), EJE Law Firm(CEO Attorney Kwon Kook Hyun), and content director Vimesk (Co-CEO Lee Dong Ha and Bae Doo Hwan).

The first thing to be released first is ‘Dano Pungjeong’ in ‘Hyewon Jeonsincheop’. Various images of people and landscapes appearing in the paintings were created as NFTs, and each work is sold for 200,000 won. Even in the case of characters, NFTs will be produced by dividing them into full body, upper body, and face, and dividing objects and landscapes into various versions.

Director Jeon said, “We lowered the price to create a community where more people can join,” and "The NFTs for all the works of Dano Pungjeong will be sold through auction, and the rest of the 29 works in the album will also be released sequentially."

Lee Dong Ha, CEO of Vimesk, who is participating as a content director, explained that the 30 works in 'Hyewon Jeonsincheop' are re-created as digital images of more than 400 million pixels," and "Based on this, the first NFT of the original work was issued." Atomrigs Lab CEO Jeong Woo Hyun added, "Starting with the issuance of 'Hyewon NFT', various contents will be reproduced in the form of secondary and tertiary creations, and tokens based on 'ERC20' will be issued."

The plan is to create collaboration content under the theme of 'Hyewon Shin Yun Bok, a genius painter of the 18th century Joseon Dynasty meets modern culture', the Gansong Art Museum will present not only the works of artists such as Korean and Western paintings, webtoons and illustrators, but also sound sources, music videos and dramas in which composers and singers participated.

Gansong Metaverse Museum Project opened the project website (https://kansong.io/) and various social media channels on the 26th, and has a pre-sale on June 3rd. For more information on the 30 pieces of Hyewon Jeonsincheop, which are created as NFTs, you can check it out on the website.

Previously, the Kansong Art Museum issued a limited edition of 100 NFTs for 100 million won each for Hunminjeongeum Haerye in July last year.
