"The best works have come out to match the first year of digital art. Each work was so excellent that it was difficult to choose the ranking."

The first "Korea NFT Digital Art Competition" award-winning work that opened a new horizon for digital art will be released to the world. The opportunity to purchase and collect 50 of Korea's best NFT works, which have passed four strict reviews, will soon open.

With a total of 2,200 applications, one grand prize, six gold prizes, and 43 excellence prizes will be traded. Trading will begin in mid-May on Upbit's NFT marketplace and others.

The Korea NFT Digital Art Competition is the largest NFT competition in Korea held with the goal of selecting a "pioneer in the trend of digital art." The competition was hosted by Maeil Economy and organized by Yellowstone and M-Block Company. In addition to Dunamu, it was sponsored by the Korean Federation of Arts and Culture Organizations, the Korean Art Association, FSN, 300 Feet, Plume M Tech, TALKET, the Korean Designers' Council, Gallery U.H.M, and The One Art World. The response was hot from the beginning of the competition. A total of 2,200 items applied during the two-month application period, reaffirming the reputation of the "largest NFT festival in Korea."

The screening process has also increased from the original third to the fourth due to the large number of entries. After the preliminary screening and the first and second screening, the writers' presentation interviews were conducted in the third round, the final screening. LG Electronics' 65-inch OLED TV was used for screening to select works through the highest quality. When the work was displayed on the OLED screen, the judges appreciated the work and evaluated it.

The works selected for the 50 pieces will be introduced sequentially through the Maekyung Economy page from May and then traded at Upbit NFT Marketplace. The opening date of the transaction is mid-May.

"Garden organ factory," a video work by artist Bang Jung-ho, was selected for the contest. A detailed list of the selected works is announced on the Maekyung Economy website.
