Hyundai Department Store Duty Free is planning to expand NFT (non-replaceable token) contents.
Hyundai Department Store Duty Free announced on the 10th that it has signed a multilateral business agreement to promote the NFT commerce project with the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, Smasworld, Olymp Planet, and NFT Korea at the headquarters of the Parnas Tower in Samseong-dong, Seoul.
Smasworld is a team of NFT artists formed by five artists working at home and abroad, including Korea, the United States, and Germany. OlimPlanet is a metaverse company and is conducting metaverse transformation in various fields such as the MICE industry, real estate, commerce, media, and entertainment through the metaverse platform Elipex. NFTKORY, a company specializing in digital content consulting, provides consulting and marketing support services related to the creation and distribution of digital content such as NFT art.
Through this agreement, Hyundai Department Store Duty Free will produce NFT art works that combine gold bars with four companies, including the Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation, and sell a limited number through Hyundai Department Store's Internet Duty Free. In addition, a virtual showroom will be opened on the metaverse platform Elipex where you can enjoy NFT art works.
"We are actively introducing new digital-based technologies to provide differentiated services to customers and lead the digital trend in the domestic duty-free industry," said Yuk Woo-suk, marketing manager at Hyundai Department Store.
