구준회 알타바 그룹 대표는 19일 블루밍비트와의 인터뷰에서 "알타바의 NFT(대체불가능토큰)는 웹3를 웹2·현실 세계와 잇는 포털"이라면서 이같이 밝혔다.
알타바는 명품 브랜드의 최신 패션을 버추얼 아이템으로 소개하고 이용자들이 경험할 수 있게 만들어주는 플랫폼이다. 프라다, 미우미우, 버버리, 아르마니, 불가리, 발망, 톰브라운 등 40개 이상의 브랜드사들을 고객 및 파트너로 보유하고 있다.
알타바가 강조하는 키워드는 '연결'과 '경험'이다. 알타바는 사람과 사람, 사람과 패션 브랜드를 연결해 새로운 경험을 제공하고 이를 오프라인으로 확장하는 것을 목표로 한다. 알타바 메타버스 속 아이템들은 실제로 존재하기 때문에 유저들은 온라인에서 착용해 본 아이템을 이커머스 링크를 통해 직접 구매할 수 있다.
구 대표는 "향후 15~20년까지는 웹2와 웹3가 혼합된 하이브리드 모델이 커머스의 중심에 설 것으로 본다"면서 "알타바는 온라인, 오프라인, 메타버스를 아우르는 진정한 옴니채널 경험을 통한 차세대 커머스 모델을 만들어가고 있다"고 강조했다.
As golf fashion has emerged rapidly as the domestic golf population has recently surpassed 5 million, Altaba has started to build a golf community with luxury golf fashion. Altaba will launch a "Bored Ape Golf Club" minting (issue) based on BAYC (Bored Ape Yacht Club), the most famous intellectual property (IP) in the Web3 ecosystem, on the 20th.
In line with the name of a golf club, BAGC holders will be provided with the best golf CC rounding opportunity, green fee support for the first time, and participation in golf games in Altaba Land, depending on their grade. Goods that collaborate with various luxury brands such as golf drivers, visors, golf costumes, and golf balls will also be sold exclusively to holders.

CEO Koo said, "BAGC will not be just a digital collection, but will be an experience that connects actual products and golf courses." Altaba's central keywords of "connection" and "experience" have also permeated their NFT collection.
Altaba also decided to hand over IP ownership to BAGC holders. Just as BAYC has expanded its worldview by allowing related copyrights to be used for commercial purposes, BAGC holders are also expected to contribute to revitalizing the community and enhancing brand value through secondary creation.
CEO Koo added, "By signing a separate licensing contract with the holders, the holder will act as a licensee and the company will act as a licensee," adding, "BAGC is also a customer relationship management (CRM) tool that establishes a new relationship between the holder, brand, and Altaba."
Altaba Group operates the social commerce metaverse platform 'ALTAVA worlds of you'. The NFT market 'ALTAVA market' is scheduled to be officially opened next year. The Altaba token (TAVA) is a utility token of the Altaba ecosystem.
TAVA previously gained fame in May when it was listed directly after being selected as the first product of the compensation payment service "Bithumb Drops" by the domestic exchange Bithumb. Asked about TAVA's talknomics, CEO Koo said, "We will not distribute tokens indiscriminately without the expansion of the utility," adding, "There will be more and more mechanisms to absorb TAVA's liquidity, such as the launch of the steak service."
CEO Koo cited providing additional benefits when paying for Altaba NFT with △TAVA as a way to expand TAVA utility △ Web3 and IRL (In Real Life) connection △ establishment of a creator economy.
"We are planning a roadmap based on TAVA, such as limiting 'Altava Walls of You' Land (LAND) payment methods to TAVA," he said. "TAVA will also be a key resource in the 'Creator Economy', a market where designers can build and sell their own digital brand."
All metaversees have avatars in common, and NFT, which decorates avatars, is an indispensable part of metaverse. However, NFT is often subordinate to specific chains and platforms. For example, if you go to Paris, you have to buy clothes to wear in Paris, and if you go to New York, you have to buy clothes to wear in New York again.
Regarding the problem of deteriorating the usefulness of NFT due to fragmented metaverse, CEO Koo said, "Altava Fashion NFT is striving to supply it to various metaverse, going beyond being consumed by its own metaverse."

In addition, the true metaverse should be premised on "interoperability."
CEO Koo said, "What Alberta is pursuing is to allow NFT to exist independently, not to belong to a specific platform, which is called 'master NFT,'" adding, "To this end, we will expand accessibility by partnering with more metaverse." It aims to create an NFT that can be worn anywhere, whether in Paris or New York.
As part of such efforts, Altaba previously signed a partnership with Animoka Brands' subsidiary The Sandbox in March and is currently a partner of K-verse. Altaba plans to hold a BAGC-based golf mini-game launch, a virtual fashion show, and an NFT art exhibition at The Sandbox's metaverse space Land.
CEO Koo said, "We will continue to work closely with various metaversees so that NFT assets can be used on different metaverse."
