Pala announced on the 26th that it held an event called "ALAP Launching Cocktail" of its NFT (non-replaceable token) project ALAP.
The event was held at Seoul Wave in Jamwon-dong, Seoul, on the 25th to commemorate the launch of Alab, Pala's intellectual property (IP)-based NFT project. About 1,000 people attended the event, including Web3 and virtual asset (cryptocurrency) industries, as well as fashion, entertainment, and IT industries.
Many stars, including model Jang Yoon-joo, actor Lee Dong-hwi, Kim Min-ha, and singer Jeon So-mi, attended the scene. They had time to conduct interviews and experience the content directly, focusing on Allab's digital runway.
At the event, Allab debuted as a fashion model for the first time as an NFT project. In Alab's runway, which consists of a total of 15 2022 F/W looks styled by Vogue Korea and GQ Korea, the Ambassador of the Alab project "ALAPO" appeared to showcase various fashion styles.
In addition, Pala sold paint NFTs produced in collaboration with Vogue Korea and GQ Korea. Some of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to support the digital vulnerable.
Jason Pyo, CEO of Pala, said, "This event was a meaningful event to introduce how the new culture of NFT could communicate with the public and the direction of 'Allab'," adding, "There are no limits, so people from various industries could gather and communicate." "I think it will be the driving force to create a healthy NFT community in the future," he said.
Shin Kwang-ho, editor-in-chief of Vogue Korea, said, "The result of digital and fashion meeting is NFT fashionista ALAP," adding, "We confirmed that NFT can become a new entertainment and business in our daily lives through Alab's debut fashion show."
Kang Ji-young, editor-in-chief of GQ Korea, also said, "It was a night when a very original 'New Style Icon' appeared in the fashion world," adding, "It was meaningful to be able to share the wonderful new world presented by Ilaab NFT with many people."
