Asia's largest blockchain event "Korea Blockchain Week 2022 (KBW2022)," hosted by blockchain community Builder Fact Block and co-hosted by blockchain investment company Hashed, announced on the 4th that it will hold about 80 side events.

At KBW2022, various side events such as the main conference, after-party, project briefing, global talent networking party, and investor meeting will be held at the same time. More than 200 leading blockchain companies from home and abroad will participate in the event.

Starting with the opening stage of Fact Block CEO Jeon Seon-ik, △ Vitalic Buterin Ethereum Founder △ Changfengzao Binance Chairman △ Yat Siu Animoka Brand Co-Founder △ Sandif Neile Polygon Co-Founder △ Kevin Sekniki Abarabs Co-Founder △ Chang Hyun-guk WeMade CEO △ Servic Foundation △ Infirmity Foundation △ Infinity Foundation

This KBW2022 will discuss not only web3 technology fields such as metaverse and irreplaceable token (NFT), but also virtual asset (cryptocurrency) regulations, and insights of venture capital (VC) specializing in virtual assets. This is expected to open a venue for opportunities to seek promising businesses.

KBW2022 side events will be held from the 7th to the 14th separately from the organizers. About 80 events will be held, including Hashed Breakfast, Polygon Connect, Solana Hackerhouse, Women's Leadership Forum for a Better Future, Near Protocol Meetup and Block Party.

Among them, the Women's Leadership Forum for a Better Future (Women In Tech), hosted by Hashed, is an event to gather talented people working in the tech field to discuss the development direction of women's leadership for a better future. Caroline Pam, a member of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CTFC), will be the speaker, while CEO Lee Na-rae, CEO Kim Jin-kyung, CEO of Big Value, CEO Seo Soo-min, S&S Investment Director Oh Min-young, and General Council of Medha Srivastava will attend the panel.

Since the blockchain conference is usually an event involving decentralized communities, various events are held at home and abroad, said Kim Seo-joon, CEO of Hashed. "As it is the first international blockchain event in Asia since the COVID-19 crisis, participants' expectations are high."

Meanwhile, the list of side events can be found on KBW2022 official Twitter account.
