SK Telecom announced on the 3rd that it has launched an open beta service of 'Topport', an NFT marketplace that connects non-replaceable token (NFT) issuers and buyers.
Topport provides NFT professional artists with a variety of functions, ranging from NFT collection composition to NFT publishing (minting) and community management. It helps buyers without expertise to make wallets to purchase NFT works.
More than 3,000 works by 20 Korean NFT artists, including large content producers such as the Kansong Metabus Museum and Young Industrial Co., and Kim Do-kyun, a professor at Seoul National University of the Arts, who works under the name of "kdk," were unveiled at Topport.
SK Telecom has greatly simplified the purchase process compared to the existing marketplace where NFT had to be purchased with cryptocurrency, and has made it possible to buy it with won instead of cryptocurrency. By introducing the Web3 wallet service, it has increased convenience and safety by supporting recovery in case of key loss without storing the user's private key.
SK Telecom aims to revitalize Topport by introducing NFT gifts, auction-type transactions, and strengthening community services for exchanges between creators and buyers.
