KOSDAQ listed company Flask(1,505 +3.08%)'s subsidiary, Fandom Korea, is entering the non-fungible token (NFT) business in earnest.

Fandom Korea announced on the 24th that it will make aggressive investments to launch the NFT platform. In addition, the company plans to speed up the NFT sales planning of its own content.


Fandom Korea is preparing an NFT business based on digital video collections of social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. The goal is to enable creators to monetize while providing various benefits and satisfaction to fans through their own NFT platform.



A company official said, "Through the investment, we plan to accelerate the promotion of platform video-based NFT content and NFT service platform businesses such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok."

"To this end, we signed a partnership with a global cryptocurrency exchange in May and are planning and coordinating schedules for joint NFT sales," he said.


He continued, “Starting with HB Entertainment, we are currently preparing for partnerships with large domestic entertainment companies and content producers.”

"We will grow into a leading company in the field of NFT contents through diversification of NFT contents," he added.


Meanwhile, Fandom Korea's project has recently successfully completed attracting investment from leading global investment institutions. It has attracted investments from Jump Trading, a company specializing in quant trading, IDG Capital, a global fund manager, and NGC Ventures, which specializes in blockchain and cryptocurrency investment.
