Lee Soo Man, executive producer of SM Entertainment(hereinafter referred to as SM), was invited as the main speaker on the second day of the Korean Studies Conference held at the Stanford University Bechtel Conference Center on May 20 (local time) and gave a speech on the theme of "K-pop's future vision."

Executive Producer Lee Soo Man, who took the podium as 'K-Pop First Mover', starting his speech by saying, "In the midst of globalization and the gust of technological revolution, K-pop and Hallyu are further proving the power of ‘content’, and crossing regions and borders, generations and ideologies, we are connecting the hearts of people around the world as one," and "Through SM's vision, it will be the beginning of realizing the dream of countless future artists, creators, and prosumers around the world."

On this day, Lee Soo Man, executive producer, explained SM's content production technology, 'CT(Culture Technology)'. He explained, "I named it 'CT' to systematize and develop the production know-how that creates content, along with the work of manualizing the entire process of producing K-pop culture as a technology by creating a formula." He continued, "CT is my own production system that systematizes the management system of casting-training-content production-marketing by organizing it into four stages. CT is the growth engine of K-pop and the fundamental operating system of SM."
