Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 10th that it will introduce a non-fungible token (NFT) using a rabbit character in celebration of the Year of the Cat, the “year of the black rabbit.”

On the 3rd floor of Hyundai Motorstudio Goyang, Hyundai Motor Company held a collaborative exhibition of 'MobED NFT' character conceived from MobED, a new concept mobile robot platform where robotics technology is concentrated, and 'B.B. Rabbit', a rabbit character by illustrator 'Buwon'. The Mysterious Journey of Bed and B.B. Rabbit'.

This exhibition, which will be held until the 31st, is prepared to convey the message of welcoming the coming year of the rabbit with hope through the works of Mobed NFT characters and B.B. Rabbit's travels. The journey of the two characters consists of a total of six works, from canvas art to figures.

 

Hyundai Motor Company's Mobed NFT contains the concept of Hyundai Metamobility Universe, in which the mobile area is infinitely expanded. It features four independent functional wheels on a flat rectangular parallelepiped body, so it can be transformed and used in various ways depending on the purpose of movement. At the exhibition, you can meet B.B. Rabbit riding a mobed.

 

Hyundai Motor Company plans to expand communication with customers by showing the scalability of the metamobility universe through this collaboration. To this end, it plans to hold on-line and offline events such as an on-site certification shot event during the exhibition period and a viewing review event for the modern NFT community.

현대차 관계자는 “온라인을 통해서만 만날 수 있던 모베드 NFT가 재밌고 친근하게 느껴질 수 있도록 첫 오프라인 전시를 열게 됐다”며 “앞으로도 NFT를 통한 차별화된 브랜드 경험을 지속적으로 제공하기 위해 노력할 것”이라고 말했다.

An official from Hyundai Motor Company said, “We opened our first offline exhibition so that Mobed NFT, which could only be met online, can be felt fun and friendly,” and “We will continue to provide differentiated brand experiences through NFT.”
