"Just PUSH IT!"
On the 5th (local time), the first day of the opening of 'CES 2023'. The booth of 'Lutra', a startup specializing in non-fungible tokens (NFT), located in Eureka Park, a startup-specialized exhibition hall at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, USA, was more like a small event venue than a technology exhibition hall.

When I pressed the red button under the hot pink neon text, a small camera flashed and an instant photo was taken. After about 10 seconds, a small device next to it printed out a green receipt with the words 'CLAM' and a QR code printed on it. Clam is the name of a photo card NFT production service developed by Loutra. Seon Jong-yeop, CEO of Loutra, said, "It's an NFT receipt," and said, "People's reactions are good because they put real experiences on NFTs that can't be touched."
If you access the QR code with your smartphone, you will be connected to the web page of Clam. When I wrote down my nickname and a line of phrase I wanted to engrave at this moment, the instant photo I took a while ago turned into a photo card. If you want to make it into an NFT, you just click one button. Minted NFTs can also be conveniently sent through the Rootra app, Kakao Clip, or Instagram.

The visitors who got the photo card NFT in less than a minute were happy faces. CEO Sun said, “When you think of NFT, you think of something difficult and expensive, but I wanted to change that perception.”
Rootra was awarded the Innovation Award at CES 2023 this year after being evaluated for solving the desire to own a special moment through NFT technology and relieving the psychological distance to NFT. It is the first NFT app service. A student at Pohang University of Science and Technology, the 22-year-old Sun drew attention as the youngest CES winner in Korea.

Clam cards are digital 'goods' and can also serve as brand goods to enjoy brand benefits. It is a way in which consumers receive benefits when they verify photos taken at a specific brand's pop-up store.
Rootra, which has been carrying out brand projects with POSCO, POSTECH, symphony orchestra, and performance agencies, is also planning a collaboration after receiving a love call from Kakao's blockchain technology affiliate 'Ground X'. CEO Sun said, “It seems that the fact that it can provide offline experiences to NFT services that are difficult to link online and offline seems to be appealing,” and “I want to do NFT services that are real in real life.”
