Korea's First Stamp KRW NFT Reveals at Stamp Exhibition

At the 2022 Korea Stamp Exhibition held at the Stamp Museum in Jung-gu, Seoul on the 22nd, children who won the Stamp Exhibition are listening to Son Seung-hyun, head of the Post Office, about the NFT (non-replaceable token) reinterpreting the original stamp.
Korea's first stamp NFT was implemented by transmitting moving images to large monitors and tablet PCs. Digital images of stamp won were not available online due to the possibility of forgery or alteration of stamps, but this NFT gives unique values to digital images through blockchain technology, making it impossible to falsify or modify them and can be viewed online.
The stamp exhibition will be held online until the 30th of this month and offline events will be held at the Stamp Museum until the 20th of next month under the theme of "Picnic" following the lifting of COVID-19 social distancing.
