WeMade announced on the 18th that it will actively target the Middle East to strengthen its global business capabilities. To this end, it established a branch in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), in May. WeMade is the first Korean game company to establish a branch in the UAE.

The Middle East region has recently attracted attention as a place with future growth potential such as digital assets and blockchain technology. In particular, Dubai is considered a hub for global IT companies to enter the Middle East as the game industry grows rapidly.

Jang Hyun-guk, CEO of WeMade, visited Dubai on the 17th and conducted a live TV interview with CNBC Arabia, a public news channel. In an interview, CEO Jang introduced WeMade's vision for blockchain business, intergame economy, and WeMIX coin.

In an interview, CEO Jang said, "Games that can apply blockchain technology such as coin, NFT (non-replaceable token), and DiFi (decentralized economy) can expand the well-designed in-game economy into the real world outside the game."

"WeMade has already established branches in Singapore, China, Japan, and the United States in addition to Dubai to strengthen its global capabilities, and plans to accelerate the establishment of overseas branches this year," he said. "will do our best to establish ourselves as a global blockchain game company in the future."
