SK Telecom announced on the 3rd that it has launched an open beta service of "TopPort," a curated NFT marketplace that connects non-replaceable token (NFT) issuers and buyers.

"Topport" provides NFT professional artists with a variety of functions ranging from NFT collection composition to NFT publishing (minting) and community management functions. Buyers can easily make wallets through Topport and purchase NFT works without expertise.

SK Telecom explained that Topport means "port as the starting point of a trip to find my favorite NFT." Users can use "Topport" in various operating systems such as Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS, and various browsers such as Chrome, Safari, and Edge.

SK Telecom has shortened the purchasing stage to four stages (such as joining and accessing cryptocurrency exchanges and purchasing cryptocurrency) compared to existing marketplaces that are traded through cryptocurrency. In addition, the Web3 wallet service supports recovery in case of key loss without storing the user's private key, making it easy and safe for users to use the wallet service.

Users can publish NFT works directly on the blockchain network within the 'Topport' platform. NFT transactions are won settlement methods. In the future, SK Telecom plans to add NFT gifts, auction transactions, and community services for exchanges between creators and buyers.

As of this day, more than 3,000 works by 20 top domestic NFT artists, including large content producers such as the Kansong Metabus Museum and Young Industrial Co., and Kim Do-kyun, a professor at Seoul National University of Arts, who works under the artist name "kdk," were unveiled at Topport.

"NFT Marketplace is a representative service of the Web3 era where users own and manage all data directly," said Oh Se-hyun, head of Digital Asset CO (Company). "SK Telecom will continue to develop and develop services to respond to the Web3 market.".
