KOSDAQ-listed me2on announced on the 28th that it has released a global version of the non-fungible token (NFT) and money-making game (P2E) game 'Pocket Battles NFT War' jointly developed with its subsidiary me2gen.
This game is the first casual strategy battle game using Me2on Group's intellectual property (IP). Pocket Battles, which was released in December of last year and is in global service, was onboarded to the Miverse mainnet and released as NFT/P2E global version. Android (AOS) and Apple operating system (iOS) game service will start in all overseas regions except Korea and China.
Pocket Battles NFT War is a game that collects and nurtures various heroes and mercenary characters by grade to create your own powerful unit and fight. You can combine 12 hero NFTs, 19 normal heroes, and 39 mercenaries. Various types of new heroes, mercenaries, and NFT heroes will be continuously added.
In addition, 'Pocket Token' (PKT), a game utility token, will be introduced in Pocket Battles NFT War. Users can acquire in-game currency items called 'Pokéstones' (PKS) through game play and exchange them for Pocket Tokens. Pocket Tokens can be exchanged for USDC on the decentralized exchange, Myverse Dex. Pokestones that are not exchanged for Poké Tokens can be used to purchase items that can increase a character's abilities or to develop heroes. NFT Heroes can also be traded through the Miverse NFT Marketplace.
Users with NFTs can participate in daily quests, integrated arenas, and the 'Pocket Championship', a tournament for hero NFT holders. Users around the world receive a total of $240,000 in prize money every quarter through tournaments. Users who do not have hero NFTs can also obtain daily and weekly rewards through Daily Quest rewards and Master League rewards.
Son Chang-wook, CEO of Me2on, said, “We are delighted to present to global users the first NFT/P2E project that will be onboarded on Me2on Group’s blockchain mainnet Meverse.” I will try my best to make it work," he said.
