'Olive Creative Co., Ltd.' and Phygital NFT company 'Collex' joined hands for the NFT business.

Olive currently operates the Korea Football Association Football Fantasium and focuses on ISDA (International Sports Data Alliance) projects based on blockchain such as the Soccer Pie application, so it has autographed items from various soccer celebrities and can collect them.

Collectex is the first real-life based NFT project in Korea that sold out 5,555 NFTs in 24 hours in April this year, issuing Phygital NFTs that combine physical and digital. In particular, it acquired the exclusive right to sell Messi's jerseys with ICONS, FIFA and UEFA's official collectibles agency, and turned them into NFTs. In the second half of this year, it will also open a marketplace with the motto, "If you own it, you can make money. Rare Collectibles NFT Marketplace."

Olive, along with Collectex, plans to create NFTs that increase the value of holdings online and offline by converting autographed items of soccer celebrities who first visited the football fantasium into NFTs. Afterwards, using the network of about 24 countries that participated in the ISDA project, they will collect autographed items from soccer celebrities in each country and carry out a global NFT business with Collectex.

The Football Fantasium, which had been closed for two years due to the prolonged Corona 19, is starting to stretch again starting with the Football Festival hosted by the Korea Football Association held in June. Currently, a special exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the 2002 Korea-Japan World Cup with 49 artists and a commemorative exhibition for the 1st memorial exhibition of soccer coach Sang-cheol Yoo are being held.

Joon-geun Jang, CEO of Collectex, said, “Collex exclusively supplies unique and rare collectibles that cannot be obtained anywhere, such as autographed items from soccer figures from various events of the Football Fantasium or collaboration works of collaborating artists, and makes them real NFTs. Then, we plan to create a new reliable trading ecosystem."

“With the contract with Collectex, we want to showcase the power of Korean soccer content to the global market and open up new values in line with the explosively growing NFT market and global rare collectibles market,” said Olive’s CEO Jung Eui-seok. We are also planning various donation activities to use part of the profits to foster young players who dream of becoming the next Heung-min Son, and to share with the underprivileged."
