Lotte Data Communication issues NFT with Hexlant blockchain service

Lotte Data Communications joins hands with Hexlant to enter the non-fungible token (NFT) market. In addition to NFT issuance, it plans to showcase various related businesses such as distribution and consulting.
Hexland announced on the 19th that it signed a business agreement with Lotte Data Communications at its office building in Geumcheon-gu on the 18th and started strengthening the mutual cooperation system to expand the NFT business. As a virtual asset operator, Hexlant is providing blockchain-based expertise, including deposit, transaction, storage, and withdrawal services necessary for virtual asset business, as well as token issuance, storage, and connection service establishment.
Through this agreement, Lotte Data Communications plans to cooperate in various blockchain business fields such as NFT issuance, distribution, and consulting based on 'Octet', a blockchain infrastructure service of Hexlant. In particular, Hexland supports infrastructure technology required for Lotte Data Communication's NFT marketplace and virtual asset wallet, which will be released in November.
Lee Won-jong, head of Smart Retail Division at Lotte Data Communications, said, "As the NFT market becomes more common, voices of concern about security and safety are also increasing."
"The two companies will create a transparent NFT ecosystem by integrating advanced technologies with the top priority of providing convenient and safe customer experiences," he said.
