[Herald Economy (Gwangju) = Reporter Seo In-ju] The Korea NFT Certification Institute will take the lead in establishing a trust system for trading precious metals.
Kim Seung-il, president of the Korea Institute of accreditation and certification, and Yoo Hyang-sook, president of the International Diamond Industry Association (GIA Yuri Elizabeth Diamond), signed a strategic business agreement at the GIA Yuri Elizabeth Diamond store at Interbulgo Hotel in Daegu on the 18th. The agreement is aimed at establishing a system of trust and transparency in transactions of precious metals.
The American Jewelry Appraisal Board GIA is the world's most prestigious jewelry appraisal agency with a history and tradition of 92 years, and the International Diamond Industry Association is an institution that educates the jewelry trading trust system.
The Korea NFT Certification Institute provides digitalization, NFT issuance, registration, verification, and certificate issuance services in all fields, including real estate, paintings, ceramics, precious metals, certificates, and listings.
Yoo Hyang-sook, CEO of GIA Yuri Elizabeth Diamond, said, "With the technology of the Korea NFT Certification Institute, everyone has registered valuable items as NFTs and even issued verified certificates," adding, "If it is with the first blockchain registry office registered as a patent, it will greatly help build a trust system for trading precious metals."
Kang Kwang-min, vice chairman of the Korea NFT Certification Institute, said, "We expect the two institutions to grow together through strategic business agreements," adding, "We will contribute to the development of related industries by securing trust and transparency in precious metal transactions."
