[Beyond Post reporter Kim Min-hyuk] "Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA)" announced on the 10th that it has been selected and participated as an NFT certification sponsor for the 2023 Seoul Art Expo, organized by the International Association of Art and the Seoul International Art Expo Steering Committee.

The 2023 Seoul International Art Expo will be held from February 9 to 12 at Hall C on the third floor of COEX in Samseong-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.

The expo will showcase 1,500 works at about 150 booths, including galleries and related organizations. In particular, works by Park Seo-bo, Lee Woo-hwan, Woo Kook-won, UGO RONDINONE, and Michael Craig Martin, who are attracting attention as contemporary artists at home and abroad, will also feature works by webtoon artist Gian84, singer Song Min-ho, actor Choi Min-soo and actor Choi Jung-woo.

In addition, "Special Exhibition of Invited Writers" by Kim Hwan-ki, Park Su-geun, Lee Jung-seop, Yoon Hyung-geun, Lee Bae, Mak Chagall, Pablo Picasso, and Jo An-miro will be held.

The Korea NFT Certification Authority (KNCA) is a company specializing in NFT registration and certification technology that allows anyone to store their items on the blockchain and decrypt and understand the stored encryption information in various certificates or blockchain registration copies.

This expo supports copyright, ownership, and history management by applying NFT authentication technology to various cultures and works of art. In particular, it showcases technology to digitize real assets like artworks and sculptures, technology to decrypt them in the form of blockchain certificates or registers, and technology to register NFTs in installments, and related technologies have already been registered for patents.

Culture and art are the soil to protect human peace and happiness and the basis of economic activities, said Lee Kwang-soo, chairman of the IAA Korean Committee and chairman of the Korea Art Association. "We will develop art-related industries and develop them into a global event that returns the right to enjoy culture and art to the public."

Kim Seung-il, CEO of the Korea National Institute of Certification (KNCA), said, "As a certification sponsor of the Seoul International Art Expo, we will do our best to help various technologies owned by KNCA solve various issues such as copyright, ownership, and transparency of cultural artists and support global advancement based on KNCA certification technology."
