Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA) announced on the 27th that it held a meeting with foreign reporters to raise funds for the relocation of the Asia Pacific YMCA to Jeju and the creation of an international youth campground (Ground 1.5), which was recently held at the Korea Press Center.
In addition, Korea NFT Certificate Authority announced that it had signed a contract for technology and platform operation worth 600,000 dollars from Korea YMCA on the same day.
Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA) has already been selected as a global technology supervisor following the issuance of global NGO-NFT by YMCA on the 29th of last month.
Since then, the YMCA-Hooranky-NFT Limited Edition Early Bird works, which were conducted for about a month in advance by the Korea YMCA National Association (YMCA Korea), were successfully completed, and its technicality was recognized.
Korea YMCA executive chairman Shin Jong-won, director said “This foreign press conference was held to raise funds for the ‘Asia Pacific YMCA Headquarters Relocation to Jeju and Ground 1.5 Project’ jointly promoted by the Korea YMCA Federation, World YMCA Federation, Asia Pacific YMCA Federation, and US YMCA Federation. It was held with the purpose of informing foreign reporters about the global launch of ‘YMCA-NGO-NFT’, which was introduced for the first time in the world.” “Foreign media also showed great interest, such as the keynote address and questions about current issues, with Choi Jae-woong, chairman of Japan’s Asahi Shimbun and The Seoul Foreign Correspondents’ Club (SFCC) attending in person,” he said.
In addition, “As YMCA decided to launch NGO-NFT global in earnest starting from this foreign press conference, we signed a contract with Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA) for technical support and platform operation worth 600,000 dollars.”
Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA), which supports the technology of this NGO-NFT, has established a ‘NFT registry office in daily life’ that incorporates blockchain technology, since July of last year, it has been providing one-stop services from NFT registration to verification and certificate issuance. In particular, NFT technology that digitizes real assets, blockchain NFT registration copy, certificate issuance technology, and technology that divides and registers NFTs are KNCA's own technologies and have already completed patent registration.
Kim Gyeong-min, Secretary General of the Korea YMCA National Federation, said, “Through this foreign press conference, the Asia-Pacific YMCA Headquarters’ success in attracting Jeju and the purpose of the Ground 1.5 Project were widely publicized. In particular, based on the donation of NFT works by world-renowned digital artist Frankie, the differentiated technology and platform development of Korea NFT Authorized Certification Authority have been added, and YMCA has finally been able to introduce a new fundraising method called NGO-NFT for the first time in the world. We are very proud to be able to launch this globally.”
Kim Seung-il, CEO of Korea NFT Certificate Authority, said, “Through this contract with YMCA as a technology manager, we will provide a reliable global NGO-NFT donation platform by integrating various technologies that KNCA has so far.” He added, “KNCA goes beyond simply providing technology, as countless people around the world participate in this campaign, including 1668 regional headquarters in 24 countries of the Asia-Pacific YMCA Federation and 12,000 regional headquarters in 120 countries under the World YMCA Federation. So, with a sense of responsibility and mission to spread the new NGO-NFT donation culture, we will do our best to gather all our technology and capabilities to make the campaign successful.”
