Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA) announced on the 30th that it was selected as the technical support manager for YMCA's NGO NFT issuance.

On the 29th, YMCA Korea held a global fundraising campaign launching ceremony at the Bank Hall to raise funds for the relocation of the headquarters of the Asia-Pacific YMCA Association (hereafter Asia-Pacific YMCA) to Jeju and the creation of an international youth campsite. And Korea NFT Certificate Authority was selected as the supervisor of NGO NFT issuance technical support.

At the event, Shin Jong-won, director of the Korea YMCA National Federation Fundraising Headquarters Executive Committee, said, “Korea has been recognized for its mature democracy and social and cultural capabilities amid political and social changes in Hong Kong. This project was planned after the decision to relocate the headquarters of the Asia-Pacific YMCA to Jeju was made in April.”

“This campaign divides Frankie’s ‘hoo2208101817 (Subtitle: The boy sees)’ work into 1,500 pieces and sells them to the world, and raises $15 million, For this purpose, the issuance, registration, verification, and management of NGO NFTs are selected by Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA), which specializes in NFT certification, and provides various technologies.”

Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA), which is responsible for technical support for this fundraising campaign, is a domestic NFT registry that was launched in July 21, and started issuing certified copies of NFT registers and certificates incorporating blockchain technology in May of this year. The technology to digitize real assets, provide NFT registration display services, and divide and register NFTs has been recognized as a patent, providing one-stop services from registration to certification of NFTs.

For donors who participated in this fundraising campaign, Korea YMCA can store YMCA-Franky NFT owner information in a separate NFC chip and link it with the block chain in real time through the NFC technology owned by Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA). It was announced that it would be the first to introduce an ‘NFC card-type NFT system’ that can be used for various events and services that only YMCA has.

Kim Seung-il, CEO of Korea NFT Certificate Authority (KNCA), said, "As the first NGO NFT is issued as a non-profit organization fundraising method, KNCA's NFT patent technology allows us to manage the ownership of the work and the history of donation." as “Starting with this YMCA technical support, we will become a differentiated NFT authentication technology company that can change the donation culture and donation paradigm of various non-profit organizations in Korea and abroad as well as ordinary individuals and companies.”
